The billing plan lists the progress payments you will bill the client: at what progress, when, and for how much. It is the source of money coming in before an invoice exists.
One row per payment. Rencana means not billed yet; Sudah Ditagih means the invoice exists and is also recorded in Piutang_Usaha.
Where the numbers come from
- The contract: payment schedule and percentages.
- The S-curve: when planned progress reaches each billing point.
- Signed progress certificates (BA).
Columns and how to fill them
Tab Rencana_Penagihan in the free finance template. The examples are fictional. Tax and retention headers match the source workbook. This illustrates its arithmetic, not an applicable tax or contract rate.
| Column | Example | How to fill it |
|---|---|---|
| Proyek/Blok | E2 | The project or block this row belongs to, for example C4. One row is for one project only. |
| No. Termin / BA | DEMO-TRM-001 | The progress-billing stage or handover document number the bill is based on, for example Stage 2. |
| Progres (%) | 40 | The physical progress needed to bill this stage, as a percentage, for example 40. |
| Rencana Tanggal Tagih | 15/10/2026 | Keep future milestones after the as-of date as planned inflows. |
| Status | Rencana | Use Rencana for unbilled items. Link Sudah Ditagih to receivables to avoid duplication. |
| Nilai Bruto (IDR) | 200000000 | The stage amount before VAT and retention are taken off. |
| PPN 11% (IDR) | 22000000 | 22 million illustrates 11% of 200 million. Verify the applicable tax basis rather than copying the example. |
| Retensi 5% (IDR) | 10000000 | 10 million illustrates 5% retention. Use the actual contract retention. |
| Nilai Bersih (IDR) | 212000000 | Example F5 + G5 − H5 = 212000000. Check the workbook’s formula or entered value. |
| Keterangan | Contoh skenario sesuai judul kolom | Extra notes that help explain the row, for example a confirmation status or the reason for a change. May be blank. |

How to check it
- Payment percentages add up to the contract schedule.
- Planned billing dates follow the latest S-curve, not an original schedule that has slipped.
- Net amount is worked out from gross, VAT and retention as the column titles say.
- Payments marked Sudah Ditagih have the same number in Piutang_Usaha.
Common mistakes
- A billed payment left as Rencana and also in receivables, so it is counted twice.
- The example VAT or retention rates used without checking the contract and current tax rules.
- Billing dates not moved when progress is late.

Common questions
When does a payment move to receivables?
When the invoice is sent. Change the status to Sudah Ditagih and record the invoice in Piutang_Usaha with the same number.
Is the net amount the cash received?
Not always. There can be other deductions such as down payment repayment and income tax. See the project cash flow article for an example.
Where do billing dates come from?
From the S-curve: the week planned progress reaches the billing point, for example 40%.
