How to Record Project Bank and Cash Balances per Account

How to fill the Saldo_Bank_Input tab: one row per bank or cash account, its latest balance and date, matching the bank statement.

Komander.ai Panduan team · 2 min read · Updated 9 October 2026

The bank balance is the starting point of every cash forecast: how much money there really is today. This tab holds one row per bank account or petty cash box, with its latest balance and the date of that balance.

Enter balances, not transactions. If your workbook has a list of debits and credits, the last balance of each account in that list is the figure to enter here.

How to check it

  1. Every account the project uses has one row, including petty cash.
  2. The balance date is the cut-off date or very close to it.
  3. The balance matches the bank statement on that date.
  4. Account numbers are stored as text so leading zeros are kept.

Common mistakes

Start from a template

The full guide is in How to create a construction finance report in Google Sheets. It has a free template (Excel or Google Sheets) and a checker that reads your own workbook.

Common questions

Should site petty cash be included?

Yes, as its own row with the type Kas Kecil, so all available money is visible.

What about a negative balance?

Enter it as it is. An overdraft is important information for the cash forecast.

How often should it be updated?

At every report cut-off date, for example every week.
